Brief:

After relocating, Our City Our Neighborhood Church (OCON) requested a logo update. Updating the logo led to designing their website, business cards for the senior pastor and the new intern youth pastor, and promotional flyers for various church events. Spontaneously, I created calendars and notebooks for the church members and visitors as they continue to grow!

Solution:

For the logo, the senior pastor wanted to keep the same color scheme, road arch, geographic grid, cityscape, tagline and cross. However, the previous logo was heavily detailed which made it hard to see when scaled down so I simplified and thickened the line strokes for better visibility. The design is consistently applied to the website, business cards, calendars, and notebooks to elevate OCON’s new brand identity. The posters are creatively expressive based on the theme or activity of the event to outreach attending members and the local community.
